MELISSA ASHTON
Director
Melissa received her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences and her Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University. Her previous experience includes working as a victim advocate at the State Attorney’s office, primarily with domestic violence and sexual assault victims. In addition, she has worked at the Attorney General’s office as a victim compensation claims analyst. Melissa is an Assistant Dean of Students and the Director of the Victim Advocate Program. |
JENNIFER GAGEN
Associate Director
Jennifer received her B.S. in Psychology and Criminology and her Master's in Social Work from Florida State University. Her previous experience includes telephone crisis counseling at 2-1-1 Big Bend, as well as internships in victim advocacy with both the Tallahassee Police Department and the State Attorney's Office. She has also worked with criminal offenders at the Public Defender's Office in Orlando, Florida. Previously, Jennifer worked as an On-Call Advocate at FSU and is now the Associate Director of the Victim Advocate Program. |

KIMBERLY KINCEY
Program Associate
Kimberly received her B.S. in Sociology and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from Florida State University. She is currently enrolled in the online Master's program of Criminal Justice at Troy University. Currently, Kimberly is the Program Associate for the Victim Advocate Program and the Office of Withdrawal Services. |
DOMINIQUE MACK
On-Call Advocate
Dominique received her B.S. in Social Work from Florida State University. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Social Work. Her previous experience includes working with victims of crime through an internship with the State Attorney's Office Victim Assistance Program. She is now working as an On-Call Advocate. |

Ember received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Criminology, and her B.A. in Humanities from Florida State University. She is now pursuing her Master's degree in Clinical Social Work. She is currently working as an On-Call Advocate. |
KORI PRUETT
On-Call Advocate
Kori received her B.A. from Florida State University in Political Science and International Affairs. She is currently working on a Masters degree in International Affairs with a focus on developing countries. Kori is a volunteer advocate for the Refuge House and is currently working as an on-call advocate for the Victim Advocate Program. |

Derrika received her B.S. in Family and Child Sciences and her B.A. in Creative Writing from Florida State University. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Social Work. Derricka is currently working as an on-call advocate. |
KELLY DWIGHT
On-Call Advocate
Kelly received her BA in English from Clemson University and is currently pursuing her Master's in Higher Education Student Affairs at Florida State. She holds an assistantship with the Student Disability Resource Center in the Dean of Students Department and currently serves as an on-call advocate for the Victim Advocate Program. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a career in Student Affairs, with an emphasis on crisis management or disability services. |

REGINA RODARTE
Case Manager
Regina received her B.S. in Political Science and Social Science and her Master's in Social Work from Florida State University. Her previous experience includes working as a Therapist at an in-patient/out-patient eating disorder treatment facility, as well as internships at the FSU University Counseling Center and the Apalachee Mental Health Center. Regina is currently a Case Manager for the Dean of Students Department and works closely with the Victim Advocate Program. |
DARREN MACFARLANE
Case Manager
Darren received his B.S. in Interdisciplinary Social Science and his Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University. His previous experience includes working as a Counselor in both in-patient and out-patient settings, with an emphasis on substance abuse and mental health treatment. In addition, he worked at Florida A&M University as an Academic Advisor and Instructor. Darren is currently the Case Manager for the Dean of Students Department and works closely with the Victim Advocate Program. |
